Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pinheiro Akagi (ranked 4274 p4p, 5441 weight class) and Gaven Mcqueen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pinheiro Akagi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Pinheiro Akagi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Gaven Mcqueen ! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcqueen clinches up with Akagi and pushes him back against the cage. Akagi has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Akagi is fighting off a takedown attempt but Mcqueen is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Akagi to the mat. Akagi regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Mcqueen controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Mcqueen slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A lull in the action here as Mcqueen stalls from top position. Mcqueen has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcqueen gets a double leg takedown into Akagi's guard. Mcqueen lands a couple of digs. Mcqueen engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Mcqueen stands up and waves to Akagi to follow him. Mcqueen closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Akagi did well to prevent Mcqueen getting side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mcqueen content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Mcqueen missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Mcqueen is controlling the pace.
Mcqueen is looking to advance position but Akagi won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Akagi is looking to get back to full guard here but Mcqueen has managed to pass to side control instead. Mcqueen working the head and body with strikes. Mcqueen is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Akagi looks calm but he's in trouble here. Mcqueen gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Akagi is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Mcqueen lets go of the hold and Akagi can pop his arm back in it's socket.
