The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Bart Greer and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vegas shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Onil counters with a nice body shot.
Vegas doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Onil counters with a left hand that sends Vegas to the canvas!
It looks like Las Vegas has been cut.
Vegas is pulling down on Onil's head to control his posture.
Vegas looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Onil gets to his feet and stands over Vegas, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Vegas felt that one! Onil unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Vegas from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Badig Onil!
Badig Onil made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'Je suis né en Afrique, j'ai grandi en Afrique, même Kingkong n'est rien en face de moi!'.
