Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zion Moore (ranked 3950 p4p, 4375 weight class) and Jack Fox (ranked 414 p4p, 0 weight class). Zion Moore had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Fox!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fox misses with a body kick.
Fox is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Moore keeps the fight on the outside.
Moore tries to counter with a takedown but Fox is quick to defend against it.
No luck for Moore with that takedown attempt.
A slapping leg kick lands for Moore.
Fox fails to land with a series of punches.
Moore really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fox stuffs the takedown.
Fox steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Moore.

Fox wants to sweep here but Moore controlling him for the moment.
Fox really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moore. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Moore loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fox is trying to keep Moore in close.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Fox tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Moore swivels and escapes.
No joy there for Fox, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Moore closes the distance and clinches.

Moore pulls Fox in close to prevent any damage.
Fox trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Fox trying to control the position from guard on top but Moore is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Fox must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Fox throws a strike but Moore rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Fox is wriggling around but Moore manages to pass to half guard.
Well, if Moore is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

A head kick misses from Fox.
Moore shoots in for a takedown but Fox shows good takedown defense.
Moore takes one to the chin there.

Moore instigates a clinch.
Fox is looking to take this one to the mat.

Moore is working for takedown but Fox is calmly controlling the position for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fox is trying to break the clinch but Moore has him pressed against the cage.

Moore has clasped his hands together around Fox's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Fox tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Moore wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Fox dodges the ground and pound from Moore.
Fox is not content to let Moore control the position.
Moore gets to mount! Fox was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Fox is trying to reverse the position but instead Moore has taken his back - oops!

Fox trying to control the action but Moore just sinks the hooks in.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Moore controlling the positon.
Fox is trying to stand back up.
Moore is trying to stick to Fox's back but Fox is turning into Moore. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Moore's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Fox.

Moore is pulling down on Fox's head. It's preventing any offense from Fox, at least for the moment.
Fox throwing strikes but missing.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Moore holds on and takes a little breather.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Moore is on top in guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Fox tries to strike from the bottom.
Moore will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Fox wants to sweep but no luck.
Moore is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fox can do to turn this around?

Moore content to control rather than advance.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Moore throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Fox's head.
Fox tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Moore paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Fox cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fox tries to clinch but Moore is having none of it.
Moore looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

and Moore counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Moore.

Fox has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Moore has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Moore keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Fox's efforts to push away.
Fox tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Moore just stands there and leans against the cage.
Fox is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Moore is defending well.

Moore is trying to pull guard but Fox turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Fox working hard to break the clinch.
Fox wants to break the clinch but can't.
Fox wants a takedown but no success here.
Zion Moore has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Fox.

Moore jumps guard.
Moore bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fox's guard.

Fox looking for a sweep. Not yet Fox, not yet.
Moore is looking to work some ground and pound but Fox has wrist control.
Fox is trying to keep Moore in close.

Fox wants to get back to his feet but Moore is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Moore sitting in guard here, content to control.

Moore drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Moore jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Fox is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Moore is controlling him.
Fox looking to hit a scissor sweep but Moore is one step ahead there.
Moore passes Fox's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Fox wants to sweep but Moore has passed to side control!
The referee asks Moore politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Moore prefers to stall for the moment though.
Moore cracks Fox with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Moore has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Fox!
Moore thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Moore avoids the attempt from Fox to control.

Moore manages to capitalize on a mistake by Fox to take his back!
Moore is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Moore gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Moore gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Moore apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Moore rushes Fox and presses him up against the cage.

Moore breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Fox throws a push kick but Moore slaps the foot to one side.
Moore darts in looking for a takedown but Fox gets double underhooks and turns Moore into the cage.
Despite the aggression on Fox's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Fox misses with a punch on the inside.
Jack Fox has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Zion Moore is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Moore is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Fox pulls him back up using the underhooks.

And that's the end of the fight!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Moore, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
