The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obama will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Obama moves into the clinch.
Obama's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Obama looks for a takedown but Lemuaa sprawls well.
Obama shoots in for a takedown but Lemuaa shows good takedown defense.
Pieruu Lemuaa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boris Obama.
Obama shoots for a takedown but Lemuaa saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Horrible takedown by Lemuaa or perhaps it was just good defense by Obama which made him look bad.
Lemuaa tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Obama swivels and escapes.

Lemuaa goes for an armbar but Obama turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Obama.

Obama gets to his feet - Lemuaa follows without any prompting.

Obama shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lemuaa counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lemuaa.

Lemuaa looking to sit in guard and control but Obama gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Lemuaa keeping moving, preventing Obama from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lemuaa is looking for a triangle but Obama pushes his legs off easily.
Lemuaa is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Obama trying to stand up but can't free himself from Lemuaa's guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Obama lands with a kick to the temple. Lemuaa shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Lemuaa fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Obama uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lemuaa has time to react.
Lemuaa keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lemuaa fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Obama sprawls well initially but Lemuaa persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Lemuaa seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Obama for as long as he can get away with.

Lemuaa is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Obama has managed to free his arm - good work.
Lemuaa is looking for a kimura but Obama is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lemuaa to get the leverage.
Obama really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lemuaa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Obama kicks Lemuaa off and gets back to his feet.
Obama clinches up with Lemuaa and pushes him back against the cage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Obama pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lemuaa has his takedown stuffed
and Obama counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Obama lands a glancing blow to the side of Lemuaa's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pieruu Lemuaa dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Obama counters with a two punch combo.
The fight stays on the outside here - Obama looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Obama fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lemuaa, pushing him back against the cage.
Obama jumps guard and drags Lemuaa to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Lemuaa drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lemuaa jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Obama is trying to control the position but Lemuaa postures up.
Lemuaa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Obama swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Obama looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Obama is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Obama not doing much here.

Obama is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are battling for position here. Lemuaa manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Pieruu Lemuaa overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Obama trying to control the position from guard on top but Lemuaa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Lemuaa had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Obama is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lemuaa Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Obama's back instead.
Obama trying to control the hands but Lemuaa breaks the grip.
Obama won't enjoy being in this position. Lemuaa looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Obama is tapping - it's over boys! Lemuaa picks up the submission victory!
