Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Higanti Libat (ranked 24307 p4p, 24657 weight class) and Way Nada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Way Nada was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 15 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Higanti Libat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Way Nada! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Nada fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Libat to the ground. Nada is now in Libat's guard. Libat looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Nada seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Libat has control of Nada's left arm, preventing Nada from doing any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nada is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nada postures up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Libat keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Libat jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Nada shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Libat defends it nicely. Nada closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Libat's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nada controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Libat pulls Nada in close to prevent any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Libat throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Nada escapes and throws Libat's legs to the side, diving into side control! The referee asks Nada politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Nada prefers to stall for the moment though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Nada trying to control the position but Libat is working away. Nada working away. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Way Nada dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Libat with a poor takedown and Nada counters with a takedown into side control. What's Libat going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Libat struggling a bit here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Libat is looking for a sweep. Libat is trying to escape the position but Nada is controlling the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. No luck for Libat with that takedown attempt. Nada is trying to counter with his kicks. Libat shoots in but Nada avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Higanti Libat. That's going to take a lot out of him. Libat goes for a double leg but Nada avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Nada continues to drive forward. Nada counters with a body kick. Nada goes for a takedown in the clinch but Libat prevents it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nada lands a takedown into guard.
Nada controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Libat controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Libat can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Nada controls the pace. Libat is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Nada slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Libat keeping moving, preventing Nada from controlling successfully. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Way Nada showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round! Libat throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Nada follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Libat has a takedown stuffed. Nada has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Libat is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Nada's half guard. Way Nada has got the better of the ground game so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nada keeps control of the position for the meantime.
That's one minute gone in the round. Libat seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Nada does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Nada desperately trying to maintain half guard. Nada is trying to maintain the position but Libat is very close to passing his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Libat in particular looking to stall. Nada is looking to improve his position.
Nada has his hands clasped together around Libat's back. He's all about the action.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Nada fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nada tries to sprawl but Libat drives through with a takedown into half guard. Nada is trying to control but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Nada is holding on to half guard well. Higanti Libat has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Way Nada is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Still in half guard, Libat seems content to control.
And that's the end of the fight! Higanti Libat showed his dominance in that final round. I think Nada has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
