The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salvador closes the distance and pushes Vera back into the cage.
Salvador tries to pull guard but Vera holds him up against the cage and eventually Salvador drops back down to his feet.
Salvador fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Vera throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Salvador is trying to pull guard but Vera turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Adrien Vera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Santiago Salvador.
Vera is trying to push Salvador away but Salvador has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Salvador looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Vera is defending well. Salvador quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Vera has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Salvador celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
