Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamal Tulley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mathie Bonnet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Mathie Bonnet enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jamal Tulley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mathie Bonnet ! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bonnet swinging wilding here.
Tulley takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. The fight stays on the outside here - Bonnet looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Bonnet throws a combination. Tulley tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Bonnet lands with an uppercut that bounces Tulley off the cage and back into rage. Bonnet fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tulley closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Bonnet throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. Bonnet tries to strike but it doesn't land. Bonnet manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Tulley is breathing heavily. Tulley blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bonnet . Bonnet is working for a submission of some sort.

That's one minute gone in the round. Tulley avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bonnet . Tulley looks like he's trying to stand up.
Bonnet throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Bonnet thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tulley on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Bonnet moves in looking to clinch but Tulley pushes him off. Bonnet swings for the body but Tulley moves out of range.
Bonnet wants to clinch. A telegraphed right hand from Tulley misses the target. Bonnet throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mathie Bonnet is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bonnet tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tulley swats him away and circles back towards the center. Bonnet waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Tulley.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Bonnet scores with a jab to the head.
Bonnet tries to clinch up. Bonnet lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Bonnet tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Bonnet tries to clinch but Tulley moves out of range. Tulley keeps the fight on the outside. Tulley takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Bonnet wants to clinch. Mathie Bonnet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tulley gets a clinch. Tulley breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Tulley working away. Bonnet is trying to get back to half guard. You can see the frustration on Bonnet 's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Tulley happy to just control the position for now. Tulley tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Tulley tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Bonnet is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Tulley off and has taken his back! Bonnet has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bonnet looking for the RNC. Tulley tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Bonnet thowing shots but they're missing. Tulley can't escape the position.

Tulley wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Bonnet .
Tulley tries to lock up and control but Bonnet gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jamal Tulley will probably get the nod. That's time! Tulley's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Bonnet connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Tulley's hands. Bonnet wants to clinch but Tulley slips to the side and Tulley counters with a left to the body. Bonnet clinches but Tulley breaks the clinch and Tulley counters with a takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Bonnet 's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Bonnet is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Tulley off and has taken his back! Bonnet looking for the choke but no joy. Tulley covering up well under a series of strikes from Bonnet . Bonnet is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Tulley defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tulley rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bonnet is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Tulley still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Tulley has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Bonnet is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Tulley's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Tulley wants to pass to mount but Bonnet is defending the position. Bonnet looking for submissions off his back. Tulley is nestled in close to Bonnet , controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Tulley wants to stand up but Bonnet has a hold of him and won't allow it. Tulley wants to pass the guard but Bonnet is defending well. Tulley tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Bonnet scores with a sloppy right hand. Tulley should have avoided that one. Bonnet scores with a jab to the body. Tulley circles away from the clinch attempt and Tulley cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Tulley takes a body punch but keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bonnet tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Tulley moves into the clinch. Bonnet goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Bonnet pushes Tulley back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Bonnet has a couple of punches blocked by Tulley.

Tulley keeps control of Bonnet as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Bonnet is looking to control Tulley's arms but Tulley gets an underhook and turns him. Now Bonnet has his back to the cage. Tulley pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Tulley gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Tulley shoots in and bounces Bonnet off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Bonnet trying to control the position.
Jamal Tulley overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bonnet has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Tulley has passed into side control.
Tulley stands up and beckons Bonnet to his feet. Bonnet darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Bonnet connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Bonnet tries to clinch there but Tulley circles away.

Bonnet wants to clinch and Tulley counters with a good low kick that Bonnet was not able to check. Tulley has closed the distance and engaged Bonnet in a clinch.

Jamal Tulley dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Bonnet doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Bonnet working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tulley doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tulley manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Tulley scoring with punches to the head and body. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bonnet isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Tulley stacks Bonnet on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Tulley! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bonnet is trying to control Tulley's posture but Tulley avoids it.

Bonnet is looking for a sweep. Tulley takes advantage of some sloppy striking from Bonnet to pass into mount. Bonnet has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tulley is working away from the top position though. Bonnet looking for submissions off his back. Tulley stands up from half guard. Tulley misses with a jab, cross combination.
Tulley takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Bonnet moves into range and clinches up with Tulley. Tulley wants the takedown. Bonnet is fighting it off but Tulley persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Bonnet 's guard against the cage. Bonnet working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tulley doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Bonnet is tightening it up a little... Tulley has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Tulley reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Tulley taps out! nice BJJ there by Bonnet !
