The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Koivisto misses the target.
Mahomes uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Koivisto.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Mahomes fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Koivisto lands with an overhand left.
Koivisto throws a poor cross that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Mahomes has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Rivers Edge Gym in the buildup to the fight.

Koivisto has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Koivisto shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Koivisto cracks Mahomes with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Mahomes looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Koivisto finish him?

It looks like Patrick Mahomes has been cut.
Koivisto drops Mahomes with a naaaaasty hook - Mahomes is in real trouble here! Koivisto dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

A relieved looking Ultima Koivisto thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
