Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juliano Dramos (ranked 4294 p4p, 5180 weight class) and Nikos Acosta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juliano Dramos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nikos Acosta!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Alexandre Firmino and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dramos thows a left - swing and a miss!

Acosta gets the takedown into side control.

Acosta thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Acosta tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Acosta swings around for an armbar but Dramos sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Acosta's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Acosta is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dramos defends well.
Dramos wants to control from the top but Acosta keeps moving.
Dramos is pushing down on Acosta's leg trying to pass to half guard. Acosta is fighting to maintain full guard but Dramos has managed to sneak the leg through.

Dramos seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Acosta does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Acosta is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dramos pulls his head out easily.
Dramos takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Acosta looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Dramos pushes past his half guard into mount!

Dramos jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Acosta manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Dramos wants to lay and pray for a moment but Acosta keeps working.

Acosta is looking for a sweep.
Acosta keeps trying to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Acosta is trying to control Dramos's posture but Dramos avoids it.
Acosta dodges the ground and pound from Dramos.
Acosta tries to buck Dramos off but Dramos is having none of it.
Acosta is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Dramos asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Dramos sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Acosta is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The referee asks Dramos politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Dramos prefers to stall for the moment though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Dramos misses with an uppercut. Acosta saw that one coming.
Dramos just misses with a punch to the body.
Horrible takedown attempt by Acosta or perhaps it was just good defense by Dramos, which made it look bad.
Dramos throws a good cross that connects.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Acosta circles away from the clinch attempt.
Acosta changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Acosta throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Dramos tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Acosta is in Dramos's guard.

Acosta is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dramos is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dramos has escaped and now he's on top!

Dramos wants to take a breather but Acosta is having none of it.

Acosta is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dramos pulls his head out easily.

Dramos is nestled in close to Acosta, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Dramos looks to score with a jab to the body but Acosta is just out of range.
Acosta feints the counter takedown.
Dramos fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Acosta manages to avoid it.

Dramos shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Acosta avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Dramos.

Acosta wants to control but Dramos is keeping busy.

Dramos is trying to control the action in half guard but Acosta is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Acosta gets full guard.
Acosta has Dramos pulled in close to control his posture.

Acosta isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Dramos stacks Acosta on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Dramos!
Acosta regains half guard there - taking advantage of Dramos's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Dramos can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Acosta is looking to escape.
Acosta tries to reverse the position but Dramos maintains control.
Acosta holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Dramos tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Dramos prevents Acosta from getting the reversal.

Acosta sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dramos in particular looking to stall.
Acosta works his way to full guard. Good work.
Dramos might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Dramos not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Acosta has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Dramos is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Acosta.
