Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Jacques Durand Jr (ranked 6226 p4p, 23791 weight class) and James Braddock (ranked 595 p4p, 633 weight class). James Braddock will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durand Jr fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Braddock manages to avoid it.
Durand Jr lands an overhand right.
Braddock takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Durand Jr. Braddock shrugs it off though.
Durand Jr looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Braddock throws a right and a left that both miss.

Braddock connects with a body shot that sends Durand Jr's belly button to the back.
Braddock jabs Durand Jr right on the nose. Durand Jr blinks but takes it well.

Braddock will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Durand Jr fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Braddock has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Braddock throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Durand Jr throws a leg kick which misses Braddock's front leg but catches the back leg as Braddock tries to avoid it.
Braddock looks to land a combination but Durand Jr avoids it well.
Braddock misses with an uppercut
and Durand Jr connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like James Braddock has been cut.
Jacques Durand Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Durand Jr fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Braddock takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Braddock gets tackled into the ropes by Durand Jr. Durand Jr maintains the clinch.
Durand Jr lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Braddock backwards.

Durand Jr has his opponent in a tight Thai clinch and unloads with a massive knee that drops Braddock to the canvas! Can Braddock beat the count? 3,4,5,6 and he's up... is he? Yes, he's up! The referee is taking a long look at him and he's going to allow it to continue!

Durand Jr throws a body shot but no joy.
Braddock swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Braddock misses with a series of wild punches.
Durand Jr throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Braddock is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Braddock throws a right and a left that both miss.
Durand Jr connects with a right hand. Braddock shakes it off.
Braddock takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Braddock looks to land a combination. Durand Jr sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

A slapping leg kick lands for Durand Jr.
Braddock just misses with a punch to the body.
Braddock throws a right hand that Durand Jr ducks under and follows up with a left that Durand Jr also avoids with ease.
Durand Jr lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Durand Jr takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

That has opened up James Braddock's cut even more.

Braddock is still on wobbly legs! Can Durand Jr finish him?
Durand Jr clobbers Braddock with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Durand Jr counters with a nice body shot.
Durand Jr connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Braddock's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Braddock - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!
