Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sameer Nair!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kyler Kane!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kane lands a jab-cross combination.
The fight stays on the outside here - Nair looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kane lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Kane fails with the takedown.
Kane tries to bum rush Nair with a series of wild strikes but Nair uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kane throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kane closes the distance and clinches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nair misses with a hook to the ribs.
A right hook to the body lands for Nair.
Kane blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Nair tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Nair lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Kane tries to pull guard but Nair holds him up against the cage and eventually Kane drops back down to his feet.
Sameer Nair has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyler Kane.
Kane tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Nair just stands there and leans against the cage.

Nair digs a right hand underneath Kane's ribcage. Kane let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Nair keeps control of Kane as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Kane on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Nair goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Nair tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kane's elbow.
Kane tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Nair smiles and moves away.
Kane circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nair lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Sameer Nair seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nair throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
No joy there for Kane, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nair moves in looking to clinch but Kane pushes him off.
Nair tries to clinch up.
Kane shoots for a takedown but Nair saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nair connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kane's hands.
Kane avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The fighters circling - Nair throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Nair tries to clinch but Kane moves away
and Kane counters with a left and a right that stings Nair.
Nair tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kane swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nair connects with a superb combination that knocks Kane out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Nair before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Kane!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Sameer Nair!
