Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ashton Chen (ranked 25254 p4p, 3596 weight class) and Jed Hall (ranked 578 p4p, 392 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ashton Chen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jed Hall!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall looks to throw the jab but Chen is out of range.
Chen attempts a counter takedown but Hall avoids it well and moves away.
Hall shoots in and gets a takedown into Chen's guard.
Hall sitting in guard here, content to control.
Chen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hall with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Hall is working Chen over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hall works over Chen with some ground and pound from guard.
Chen is rocked!
Hall loads up on a big left hand. Chen felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Hall looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Chen can't hide his disappointment, as Hall celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jed Hall!
