Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaqueman shoots and misses
and Garibaldi Jr counters with a good low kick that Jaqueman was not able to check.
Jaqueman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Garibaldi Jr, pushing him back against the cage.

A short body shot lands from Jaqueman as the two fighters clinch.

Jaqueman has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Garibaldi Jr is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Jaqueman tries to circle away but Garibaldi Jr has him pinned against the cage.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Jaqueman has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
