The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strong feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to DiMariani's calf.
DiMariani looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Strong lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Rayjon Strong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
DiMariani gets caught flat footed, as Strong shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

DiMariani throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Strong stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The fight stays on the outside here - DiMariani looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Strong scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
DiMariani takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
DiMariani closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Strong gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, DiMariani cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

DiMariani has hold of Strong's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Strong manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
