Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Makana Berzebal (ranked 4664 p4p, 6147 weight class) and Kagiso Lekobe (ranked 351 p4p, 389 weight class). Makana Berzebal has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Makana Berzebal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kagiso Lekobe!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berzebal shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lekobe napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Lekobe looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Berzebal decides to stand back up. Berzebal steps back and let's Lekobe get back to his feet.
Berzebal feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Berzebal not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Berzebal is working Lekobe over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Lekobe felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Berzebal scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Lekobe to see if he's OK.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Berzebal's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
This is a sustained period of stalling by Berzebal.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Berzebal shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lekobe's guard.

Lekobe wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Berzebal manages to pass to side control.

Berzebal changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lekobe looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Lekobe is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Lekobe is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Berzebal couldn't care less - he's delighted!
