Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Larry Lee (ranked 5105 p4p, 4723 weight class) and Daniel Patrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patrick has chosen I Win! as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Larry Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Patrick!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Lee ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Lee no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Patrick pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lee is keeping the position for now.
Patrick trying to move into half guard but instead Lee has managed to sweep!

Patrick wants to stand up but Lee is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Patrick escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lee gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Lee stays in close to Patrick's body and controls the position.

Lee is looking to stand up but Patrick won't let him.
Patrick wants to sweep here but Lee controlling him for the moment.
Lee could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Lee stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Lee rushes Patrick and presses him up against the cage.
Patrick gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Lee.
Patrick fails to pull guard.
Patrick wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lee has him pressed against the cage.
Lee wants a takedown.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Patrick is trying to pull guard but Lee turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Lee is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Larry Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Patrick.
Patrick takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Daniel Patrick has been cut.
Lee jumps guard but Patrick turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Lee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Patrick gets tackled into the cage by Lee. Lee maintains the clinch.
Lee lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Patrick looks winded!
Patrick drags the fight down to the ground.

Lee looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Patrick trying to keep a closed guard but Lee is proving a slippery customer.
Lee is looking to stand up but Patrick won't let him.
Patrick is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lee is aware though and is defending well.
Lee stands up and waves to Patrick to follow him.
Patrick tries to keep at a distance but Lee has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Lee tries to pull guard but Patrick won't allow it.
Lee jumps guard.
Lee wants to stand and escape but Patrick is having none of it.

Patrick seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Lee manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Lee is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Larry Lee dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Daniel Patrick's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Patrick tries to keep at a distance but Lee has taken the fight into the clinch.
Lee manages to pull guard.
Lee looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Lee manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Patrick wants to stand but Lee has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Patrick is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Patrick stops Lee from standing up.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Patrick throws a sloppy head kick and Lee moves out of range easily.
Lee closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Lee jumps into guard, dragging Patrick to the mat.

Lee uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Lee clinches up against the cage.
Patrick fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Patrick wants to break free but Lee has control.
Lee is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Patrick to keep the fight standing.
Lee scores with a knee to the head.
Patrick is breathing heavily.
Lee has Patrick pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Patrick manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Lee has Patrick pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Lee pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Patrick tumbling to the mat - Lee dives into Patrick's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Patrick is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Lee frees his head nicely. Oh but Patrick has switched to an armbar! Lee is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Daniel Patrick decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
