The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Shart shoots in looking for a takedown but Banner manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Shart's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Shart tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Shart has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Banner working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shart doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Shart manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Banner has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Shart is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Banner.
