The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

MacNab drives through and clinches with Fernandes against the cage.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, MacNab just misses with a elbow thrown towards Fernandes's brow.
MacNab gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
MacNab lands a knee to the head.

MacNab tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Fernandes avoids it.

Fernandes has dropped down and is working for a takedown. MacNab is trying to keep an underhook but Fernandes manages to get the takedown into half guard.
MacNab is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Fernandes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but MacNab manages to avoid it.
Hamish MacNab is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

MacNab fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fernandes, pushing him back against the cage.

MacNab looks to throw an elbow but misses.
MacNab lands an elbow that stopped Fernandes in his tracks for a moment.
MacNab comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Fernandes is trying to drag MacNab to the mat but MacNab just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

MacNab pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Oh Fernandes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
MacNab dips a shoulder and cracks Fernandes with a mighty uppercut! Fernandes falls back against the cage and MacNab unloads with a barrage of strikes! Fernandes is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - MacNab screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
