Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ashton Chen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 33 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Vincent McGuire!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire lands a left and a right that send Chen crashing to the mat, dazed. McGuire thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
McGuire moves into range and connects with a jab.
Chen drops his hands momentarily. McGuire doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Chen staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Chen doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vincent McGuire!
Our winner, Vincent McGuire, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
