Okoro comes to the cage accompanied by The HU - Sad But True. Udonis Okoro has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Udonis Okoro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jeremy Butler!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Okoro gets the takedown into side control.
The ground and pound from Okoro seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
We've been hearing that Okoro has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Okoro remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
What's Butler going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
Butler tries to bench press Okoro off him but Okoro keeps the position.
Okoro happy to just control the position for now.
Okoro scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Butler to see if he's OK.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Butler is trying to control Okoro's posture but Okoro avoids it.
Butler gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Okoro slips a nice elbow through Butler's hands, connecting with Butler's forehead.
Butler is not content to let Okoro control the position.
Okoro uses his free foot to push down on Butler's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Butler.
Butler is working to get back to half guard.

Okoro lands a big shot there that rocks Butler but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Okoro postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Butler in real trouble here! The ref calls for Butler to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
