Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergey Kolomensky (ranked 6221 p4p, 5642 weight class) and Edward Lorkhe (ranked 243 p4p, 225 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sergey Kolomensky! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Edward Lorkhe! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Winston Alpacca and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lorkhe takes the fight into the clinch. Lorkhe turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Lorkhe trying to control the position but Kolomensky is working away. Lorkhe tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Kolomensky tries to bench press Lorkhe off him but Lorkhe keeps the position. Lorkhe laying and praying for a moment but Kolomensky takes advantage and regains half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lorkhe takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Kolomensky is looking to control Lorkhe's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kolomensky avoid being mounted?
That's one minute gone in the round. Lorkhe prevents Kolomensky from standing back up.
Lorkhe sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kolomensky defending well though. Kolomensky is trying to stand.
Lorkhe is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kolomensky is just riding it out for now. Lorkhe eventually gives up the hold. Kolomensky trying to control from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Edward Lorkhe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kolomensky jabbing away but nothing is landing. Lorkhe looks for a takedown but Kolomensky sprawls well. Sergey Kolomensky is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Lorkhe walks into a left hand. Lorkhe closes the distance and clinches. Kolomensky is trying to break free. Lorkhe is looking for a takedown. Lorkhe keeps control of Kolomensky as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Kolomensky gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Lorkhe.
Sergey Kolomensky has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edward Lorkhe. Lorkhe breaks from the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lorkhe shoots in for a double leg but Kolomensky sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Lorkhe misses with a head kick.
Lorkhe rushes Kolomensky and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kolomensky is trying to break free. Kolomensky tries to break the clinch but Lorkhe is controlling the position. Lorkhe goes for a takedown in the clinch but Kolomensky prevents it.
Lorkhe is trying to pull guard but Kolomensky has him pressed against the cage. Kolomensky is pressed up against the cage. Lorkhe has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kolomensky down to the mat. Kolomensky avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Lorkhe shoots in for a takedown but Kolomensky shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Lorkhe has a takedown stuffed.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kolomensky pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Lorkhe shoots and misses and Kolomensky counters with a nice uppercut. Kolomensky lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Kolomensky smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Lorkhe takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Lorkhe tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kolomensky swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kolomensky seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Lorkhe displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kolomensky throws out the jab. Kolomensky throws a big shot that misses. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kolomensky throws an overhand right that lands on Lorkhe's shoulder, as Lorkhe tries to avoid the shot. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kolomensky cracks Lorkhe with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Lorkhe moves into the clinch. Lorkhe tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kolomensky just stands there and leans against the cage. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Sergey Kolomensky dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Lorkhe swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kolomensky counters with a straight right hand. Lorkhe fails with the takedown and Kolomensky counters with a lovely straight right hand! Lorkhe dives in for a single leg takedown but Kolomensky sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Lorkhe misses with a takedown letting Kolomensky counter with a right hand. Sergey Kolomensky has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edward Lorkhe. Lorkhe looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. The fighters circling - Kolomensky throws out the jab but it was never going to land. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kolomensky lands with an uppercut that bounces Lorkhe off the cage and back into range. Lorkhe has his takedown stuffed and Kolomensky counters with a nice uppercut. Kolomensky cracks Lorkhe on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Lorkhe falls backwards against the cage. Kolomensky follows up with more strikes that drop Lorkhe to his knees. Kolomensky keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Lorkhe! This one is all over!
