Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Klaus Chugman (ranked 1236 p4p, 1157 weight class) and Brett Keane (ranked 180 p4p, 170 weight class). Brett Keane will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 39 - 37 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Klaus Chugman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 12 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brett Keane! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Keane throws a jab but it's blocked by Chugman. Chugman half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Keane circles away from the clinch attempt.
Chugman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Keane is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Chugman with a body shot. Chugman has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Chugman there as he acknowledges the shot. The fight moves into the clinch position. Chugman blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Chugman is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Keane gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Keane throws a head punch that misses. Chugman tries to pull guard but Keane holds him up against the cage and eventually Chugman drops back down to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Keane misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Chugman lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Keane. Chugman can't find room to land a body shot as Keane controls the action.

and Keane counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Chugman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Keane swats him away and circles back towards the center. Keane looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Chugman swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A jab from Keane misses. Keane misses with a left hand and Chugman counters with a shoot takedown. Keane fights it but they end up in guard. Keane can't keep his opponent in guard - Chugman advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Chugman is trying to control the action in half guard but Keane is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Keane looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Keane avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Chugman. Chugman tries to pass to full mount but Keane defends it. Chugman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Keane looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Chugman landing strikes, looking to finish! We've been hearing that Chugman has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Chugman ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. The fight stays on the outside here - Chugman looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Keane looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. The fighters circling - Chugman throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Keane misses with an uppercut. Nice work there by Chugman! Chugman is looking to take a break and control but Keane is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Keane takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Keane tries to bench press Chugman off him but Chugman keeps the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chugman looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Chugman is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Keane knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Keane is looking to regain half guard here but Chugman keeps moving and retains side control. Chugman controls the position from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chugman landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Chugman passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Keane! Chugman scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Keane?
Chugman can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Keane is looking to escape. Keane tries to reverse the position but Chugman maintains control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chugman jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Keane is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Keane and Chugman has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Keane counters though and makes it back to full guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Keane had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Chugman defends it easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Klaus Chugman showed his dominance in that final round. I think Chugman has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
