Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leonid Zakharov (ranked 882 p4p, 1089 weight class) and Johan Joestar (ranked 45 p4p, 56 weight class). Joestar is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Coda - Bloody Stream. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zakharov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Joestar moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Joestar looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

and Zakharov counters with a right hand that sends Joestar tumbling to the canvas! Can Zakharov finish him? He dives into Joestar's guard looking to do just that!

We've been informed that Joestar has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Joestar cracks Zakharov with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Joestar has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Zakharov to stand back up!

Zakharov went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Joestar lands a big uppercut and Zakharov crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Zakharov looks OK. Joestar waves Zakharov back to his feet!

Zakharov is rocked!
Joestar fakes the body blow, causing Zakharov to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Zakharov goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

A very excited looking Johan Joestar rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
