Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 10 - 2, fighting out of New York, Bo Garrett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Stoner Steve!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yuuki Gou and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steve lunges at Garrett with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Garrett's hand.
Garrett swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Garrett misses the shot to the body.
Steve uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Garrett.
It seemed like Steve was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Steve scores with a crisp jab that stopped Garrett in his tracks.
Garrett misses with a wild body shot.
Steve swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Garrett fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Steve manages to avoid it.
Garrett tries to clinch up but Steve circles away and keeps his distance.
Garrett misses with a body punch
and Steve counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A looping hook to the body misses from Garrett. Steve does a little dance to reset his feet.
Steve doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Steve counters with a big right hand! Oh Garrett is in trouble here! Steve follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
