The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Babyara connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Red Eagle's hands.

Red Eagle clinches.
Babyara tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Red Eagle smiles and moves away.

Red Eagle darts in and clinches Babyara up against the cage.

Babyara manages to break the clinch.

Red Eagle takes the fight into the clinch.

Babyara escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Red Eagle has closed the distance and engaged Babyara in a clinch.
Red Eagle throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Babyara blocks an uppercut.
Red Eagle misses with an elbow strike.

Babyara is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Red Eagle pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Babyara breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Red Eagle pushes Babyara up against the cage in a clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Babyara lands an uppercut.
Red Eagle tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Red Eagle misses with some punches.
A short body shot lands from Red Eagle as the two fighters clinch.
Red Eagle throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Red Eagle lands a shoulder strike.
Red Eagle scores with a shot to the side of Babyara's head.
Red Eagle is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Chief Red Eagle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Francisco Babyara.
Babyara looks winded!
Babyara jumps guard but Red Eagle stands there with Babyara around his waist. Babyara gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Babyara changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Red Eagle fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Red Eagle clinches up with Babyara and pushes him back against the cage.

Red Eagle breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Red Eagle tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Babyara throws a one two combo.
Chief Red Eagle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Red Eagle lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Babyara pulls guard.

Red Eagle gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Red Eagle escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Babyara walks straight into a right hand from Red Eagle - that's dropped him! Red Eagle jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Babyara from any more punishment! Babyara complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
