And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 1, fighting out of New York, Igor Vovchanchyn!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vovchanchyn throws a wild body kick that Trubitsyn sees coming a mile off.
Trubitsyn tries to clinch up but Vovchanchyn circles away and keeps his distance.
Vovchanchyn misses with a low kick.
Vovchanchyn throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Trubitsyn sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Crunch! Vovchanchyn slams his shin into Trubitsyn's torso.
Vovchanchyn throws a sloppy head kick
and Trubitsyn counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Oooooh!!! Vovchanchyn has knocked Trubitsyn down with a huge combo! Vovchanchyn steps away and waves a wobbly Trubitsyn back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Trubitsyn is rocked!
It looks like Igor Trubitsyn has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
No joy there for Vovchanchyn, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Oh Trubitsyn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Trubitsyn connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Trubitsyn looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Trubitsyn misses with a looping right.
Trubitsyn fails with an attempt to clinch.

Vovchanchyn swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Vovchanchyn lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Trubitsyn head around and knocks him out cold! Vovchanchyn hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Igor Vovchanchyn!
A very excited looking Igor Vovchanchyn made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
