The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sabatory.
Vij cracks Sabatory with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
It looks like Lou Sabatory has been cut.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Sabatory.
As Sabatory looks to move away, Vij throws a big counter combo but Sabatory just gets out of the way.
Vij thuds his right hand into Sabatory's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
