Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jansen connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Acosta takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

and Acosta counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Acosta.

Acosta is pushing down on Jansen's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jansen is fighting to maintain full guard but Acosta has managed to sneak the leg through.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jansen defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Acosta.

Acosta jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jansen manages to avoid the submission attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Acosta has hold of Jansen's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Jansen tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Acosta cranks the arm and Jansen screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Jansen, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
