Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Riku Momomoto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Barry Stead!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Momomoto misses.
Stead tries a head kick but it misses.
Stead tries to clinch up but Momomoto circles away and keeps his distance.
Momomoto showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Stead.
Stead misses with a combination
and Momomoto counters with a straight right hand.
Momomoto ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stead moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Momomoto takes one to the side of the head.
Stead pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Momomoto back to the cage. Stead follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Riku Momomoto has been cut.
Stead tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Momomoto paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Stead throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A decent looking cross lands there for Momomoto.
No luck for Stead with that takedown attempt.

and Momomoto counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Momomoto lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
A head kick by Stead misses
and Momomoto counters with a straight right hand.
Stead is rocked!

and Momomoto counters with a nice right hand that sends Stead toppling to the canvas! Stead scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Momomoto finish him?!
Stead is still on wobbly legs! Can Momomoto finish him?
Riku Momomoto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Barry Stead.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Momomoto works Stead's body with a nice hook.
Stead seems to have recovered his senses.

Stead dodges the punch combination from Momomoto.
Stead wants to clinch
and Momomoto counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Stead looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Momomoto is fending him off so far but Stead persists. Nope, Momomoto circles away and we're back to standing.
Momomoto is looking to counter punch.
Momomoto drops Stead with a beautiful combination! Stead stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Momomoto is looking for the KO!
Stead is trying hard to land a takedown here. Momomoto sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
A little feinted left hand from Momomoto on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Stead looks winded!
Stead shoots in looking for a takedown but Momomoto manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stead's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Momomoto drops Stead with a straight right hand, right on the button! Momomoto follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
