Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Minatay Mibangon (ranked 24657 p4p, 24678 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walay Buut acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 23 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minatay Mibangon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 18 - 17 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Mibangon takes a swing at Buut's ribcage but misses. Buut steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Mibangon shoots in looking for a takedown. Buut tries to sprawl out of it but Mibangon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Buut manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mibangon looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Buut steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Buut. It appears Mibangon was looking to counter with a kick there. Mibangon shoots in but no luck this time. Buut unleashes a big counter combination but Mibangon bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Minatay Mibangon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Buut darts in looking for a takedown but Mibangon gets double underhooks and turns Buut into the cage. Buut dives in for a single leg takedown but Mibangon sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Mibangon throws a quick counter head kick but Buut was just out of range. Mibangon closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mibangon perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Buut controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Buut is looking for a sweep. Mibangon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mibangon content to control rather than advance.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mibangon gets a double leg takedown into Buut's guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Buut holds on and takes a little breather.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mibangon content to stall in guard here. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mibangon trying to stand up but can't free himself from Buut's guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Minatay Mibangon dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Mibangon fails to land the takedown. Buut shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mibangon desperately trying to maintain half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buut controlling the action here. Let's hope that Buut has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Buut is thwarting Mibangon's attempts to control the position. Buut sitting and controlling from the half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buut fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Mibangon quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Mibangon stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mibangon wants it to stay on the feet. Buut looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mibangon is fending him off so far but Buut persists. Nope, Mibangon circles away and we're back to standing. It appears Mibangon was looking to counter with a kick there. Minatay Mibangon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Walay Buut. Mibangon shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Buut defends it nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mibangon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Buut swivels and escapes. Mibangon tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Buut defends well and Mibangon ends up having to push Buut into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Mibangon sets himself, and Buut steps forward looking for the clinch! Mibangon avoids it this time. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mibangon goes for a takedown in the clinch but Buut prevents it.

Walay Buut showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round! Buut looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Mibangon tries to counter with a takedown but Buut is quick to defend against it. Buut has his takedown stuffed and Mibangon counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mibangon closes the distance and clinches up with Buut, looking for a takedown. Mibangon pushes Buut against the cage but Buut circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Buut goes for a double leg but Mibangon avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mibangon continues to drive forward. Mibangon throws a big counter combination but Buut scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Minatay Mibangon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Walay Buut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mibangon dives in and grabs Buut's left leg, looking for a takedown. Buut pushes down on Mibangon's head and hops out. Mibangon changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Buut looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Buut wants to control but Mibangon postures up. Mibangon trying to control the action but Buut is working from the bottom. Buut wants to control but Mibangon postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mibangon is looking to take a break and control but Buut is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Mibangon in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Mibangon working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mibangon staying calm.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Mibangon tries to sprawl but Buut drives through with a takedown into half guard. Buut takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Buut's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Mibangon actively working from the bottom here. Mibangon keeps control of the position for the meantime. Mibangon taking some punishment here, with Buut in his half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Walay Buut. I think Buut has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
