Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zach Brooks (ranked 5068 p4p, 3718 weight class) and Ted Lasso (ranked 494 p4p, 425 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zach Brooks!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ted Lasso!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks misses with a wild combination.
Lasso ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brooks moves away.
Brooks swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lasso has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Sloppy strikes from Lasso. Those never looked like landing.
Brooks throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lasso misses with a body shot.
Brooks appears to be looking for a big counter.
Lasso scores with a one two! Brooks had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Zach Brooks has been cut.
Brooks definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Lasso cracks Brooks with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Lasso has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Brooks to stand back up!
Brooks is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lasso tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brooks was well out of range. Poor timing from Lasso.
Oh Brooks is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brooks avoids the body shot from Lasso.
Lasso cracks Brooks with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Brooks tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Lasso pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Brooks is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ted Lasso!
