Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marshall Praust!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pensri Pimchan!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Ryoma Takatsuka and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Pimchan enables Praust to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Pimchan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Praust working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Pimchan's head.
Pimchan has his foot on Praust's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Praust works his way back into a safe position though.
Pimchan keeping moving, preventing Praust from controlling successfully.
Pimchan trying to keep a closed guard but Praust is proving a slippery customer.
Praust content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Praust avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Praust tries to free his leg and advance position but Pimchan is retaining full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pimchan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Praust gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Praust trying to control but Pimchan is working from the bottom.

Praust with a nice head shot there.
Praust has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Praust postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Pimchan is rocked!
Praust arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Pimchan's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Marshall Praust!
