The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vogels misses with a low kick as Scaletto jumps back.
Vogels drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Vogels motions for Scaletto to come forward. Vogels throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

and Vogels counters with a good low kick that Scaletto was not able to check.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Scaletto walks into a straight right hand and goes down! Vogels rushes to a neutral corner so the count doesn't get delayed but Scaletto has made it back to his feet on 5. He's OK so we're back to the action.

It looks like Juliano Scaletto has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Scaletto looks to land a left hand but Vogels moved out of range nicely.
Vogels throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
An inside leg kick from Vogels misses.
Vogels definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Vogels ducks under a wild hook from Scaletto.

Boom! Vogels lands a massive head kick that sends Scaletto crashing into the cage, followed by a classic face plant on the canvas! He's up to his knees but he's not going to beat the count - this one is all over! Vogels is jumping around like a lunatic, extatic with the win!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Nero Vogels!
An out of breath Nero Vogels thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
In defeat, Juliano Scaletto stepped up to the mic, saying 'Sorry to Gamma MMA, I am not impressed with my performance. My flight was delayed and I was suffering from a stomach ache - mama's spaghetti. I'll be back better next time.'.
