Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryo Hamada!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 37 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gajah Mada!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Bruno Lombardi and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamada feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mada sprawling to the canvas! Mada rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hamada finish him?!
Mada is rocked!
It looks like Gajah Mada has been cut.
Hamada lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Mada crumples to the floor! Hamada milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ryo Hamada!
Ryo Hamada spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
Gajah Mada was interviewed post fight and said 'World please forgive Me'.
