Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jon Lodge!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lodge throws a left and a right that both miss
and Grigorev counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Lodge swinging wildly here.
Grigorev was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Lodge fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lodge closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Grigorev is trying to escape the position but Lodge is controlling the position.
Grigorev is trying to buck Lodge off.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A lull in the action here as Lodge stalls from top position.
Lodge really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Grigorev. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lodge crunches a massive hammerfist down on Grigorev - he's out! Lodge Holds back on further strikes and jumps to his feet to celebrate with the crowd!
