Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Patrick (ranked 4586 p4p, 5389 weight class) and Yohan Kiznetsov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patrick comes to the cage accompanied by I Win!. Yohan Kiznetsov will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Patrick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Yohan Kiznetsov!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patrick moves into the clinch.
Patrick slows down the pace here.
Patrick goes for a takedown attempt but Kiznetsov pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kiznetsov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Patrick swats away the attempt to clinch by Kiznetsov.

and Patrick counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Kiznetsov wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Patrick manages to pass to side control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Patrick is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Patrick stands up out of the half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Patrick fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kiznetsov sprawls well initially but Patrick persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Kiznetsov is looking to get back to is feet but Patrick passes into side control.

Patrick decides to stand back up. Patrick steps back and let's Kiznetsov get back to his feet.
Kiznetsov wants to clinch but Patrick slips to the side
and Patrick counters with a shoot takedown. Kiznetsov fights it but they end up in guard.
Patrick controls from within his opponent's guard.
Patrick forces his way into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Patrick lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Patrick winds up and cracks Kiznetsov with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Patrick slips a nice elbow through Kiznetsov's hands, connecting with Kiznetsov's forehead.
Kiznetsov wants to get back to his feet.
Patrick in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Kiznetsov tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Patrick!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Daniel Patrick!
After the fight, Daniel Patrick was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
