PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sebastian Krik (ranked 4349 p4p, 3996 weight class) and Willy Gilligan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Willy Gilligan was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Willy Gilligan!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Krik.
Krik looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gilligan is fending him off so far but Krik persists. Nope, Gilligan circles away and we're back to standing.

Oh Krik is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gilligan loads up on a big left hand. Krik felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Gilligan looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Krik can't hide his disappointment, as Gilligan celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Willy Gilligan!
