The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Solade shoots in and gets a takedown into Heimler's guard.
Solade throws a big elbow that misses.
Heimler knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Solade on the ground.
Heimler is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Solade postures up in Heimler's guard and throws a big left but Heimler blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Solade lands a couple of elbows.
Heimler controls Solade momentarily but Solade frees himself.
Solade chips away with some ground and pound.
Solade is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Heimler keeping moving, preventing Solade from controlling successfully.
Solade postures up in Heimler's guard and throws a big left but Heimler blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Solade gets to his feet and stands over Heimler, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Heimler felt that one! Solade unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Heimler from any more punishment!
