Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Jacques Durand Jr (ranked 6363 p4p, 24015 weight class) and Sebastian Burger (ranked 603 p4p, 645 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacques Durand Jr!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sebastian Burger!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durand Jr lands a jab to Burger's midsection.
Durand Jr looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Burger misses with an uppercut. Durand Jr saw that one coming.
Durand Jr takes a swing at Burger's ribcage but misses.
Burger tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Durand Jr was well out of range. Poor timing from Burger.
Durand Jr works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Durand Jr throws a body shot but no joy.
Burger walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Burger is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Durand Jr stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Durand Jr's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Durand Jr lands a nice hook to Burger's body. Burger takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Burger takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Durand Jr throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Durand Jr ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Burger out cold! The fight is over!

Jacques Durand Jr is the new light heavyweight champion!
A relieved looking Jacques Durand Jr thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
