Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Asakura (ranked 1025 p4p, 2078 weight class) and Cyrus Deangelo Queen (ranked 136 p4p, 279 weight class). Asakura comes to the cage accompanied by JJBA - Giorno's Theme. Queen has chosen Go Hard as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyson Asakura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cyrus Deangelo Queen!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asakura connects with a looping right hand.
Queen ducks right into an uppercut from Asakura.
Queen works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like Tyson Asakura has been cut.
Queen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Asakura sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Queen somewhat.
It looked like Asakura was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Asakura forces Queen back against the cage and clinches.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Asakura creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Asakura is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Asakura lands with an uppercut that bounces Queen off the cage and back into range.

and Asakura counters with a lovely straight right hand!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It seemed like Queen was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Asakura is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Queen shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Asakura is trying to defend but Queen finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Tyson Asakura overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tyson Asakura will probably get the nod.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Queen wants to pass to mount but Asakura is defending the position.
Well, if Queen is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Queen wants to free his trapped foot but Asakura is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Queen uses his free foot to push down on Asakura's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Asakura.

Queen is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Asakura has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Asakura!

Queen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Asakura's guard.

Asakura is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Queen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Asakura swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Queen in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Queen looking to sit in guard and control but Asakura gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Queen wants to sweep but no luck.

Asakura is pushing down on Queen's leg trying to pass to half guard. Queen is fighting to maintain full guard but Asakura has managed to sneak the leg through.
