Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Polly Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson looks to throw the jab but Andrade is out of range.
Andrade misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Andrade lands with a good body shot.

It seemed like Johnson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Andrade lands with an uppercut that bounces Johnson off the cage and back into range.
Johnson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Andrade to score with a decent uppercut.
Andrade tries to close the distance and clinch up but Johnson swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Andrade has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Andrade tries to work over Johnson's front leg with a kick but Johnson checks it.

Andrade thuds his right hand into Johnson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Andrade throws a wild body kick that Johnson sees coming a mile off.

Andrade feints and then cracks Johnson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Johnson down.

and Johnson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Andrade is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Johnson tries to throw a body punch but Andrade avoids it by throwing Johnson back against the cage.

Andrade struggles to land a body shot inside as Johnson controls his hands.
Johnson stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Johnson lands a nice shot that snaps Andrade's head back.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Andrade throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Andrade fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Johnson manages to avoid it.
Johnson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Andrade misses with a head kick.
Johnson cracks Andrade with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Johnson tests Andrade's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Andrade moves out of range as Johnson strikes.
Andrade throws out a leg kick but Johnson moves out of range and Andrade only half commits.
Johnson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Andrade connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Johnson scrambles back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Andrade misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Johnson.
Joao Andrade seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson cracks Andrade on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Andrade falls backwards against the cage. Johnson follows up with more strikes that drop Andrade to his knees. Johnson keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Andrade! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Polly Johnson!
