Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hudak connects with a right hand. De La Rosa shakes it off.
De La Rosa is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hudak.
Hudak doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
De La Rosa tries to land a front kick but Hudak steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Nice jab there from De La Rosa.
Hudak lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Juancho De La Rosa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A solid body kick from De La Rosa.
De La Rosa throws a nice looking combination but Hudak bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
De La Rosa moves out of range of the strikes.

Hudak is standing up over De La Rosa. De La Rosa looks to escape but Hudak dives into side control.

De La Rosa looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hudak takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Hudak has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of De La Rosa's body.
Hudak's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hudak seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down De La Rosa for as long as he can get away with.
De La Rosa is trying to stand back up.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Hudak is hanging on to De La Rosa's back as he tries to escape.

A very excited looking Jamal Hudak rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
