Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tu fails with the takedown

and Tessin holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Tessin doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Tu drops down looking for an ankle pick but Tessin pulls his leg out and moves away.
Tu with a poor takedown
and Tessin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Randy Tessin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ten Tu.
Tu has his takedown stuffed
and Tessin counters with a left to the body.

Tessin drives through and clinches with Tu against the cage.
Tessin is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Tu is trying to drag Tessin to the mat but Tessin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tu changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tessin fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Tu clinches up with Tessin and pushes him back against the cage.

Tessin throws a head punch that misses.
Tu goes for a takedown attempt but Tessin pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Tu instigates a clinch.
Tessin slowing the pace effectively.
Tessin tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Tu is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Tessin pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Tessin lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Tu backwards.
Tessin working some nice short punches in the clinch.

It looks like Ten Tu has been cut.
Tu has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tessin is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Tessin lands a right hand that snaps the head of Tu backwards.
Tu takes a shot to the head.

Tessin breaks the clinch.
Tu shoots and misses
and Tessin counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Ten Tu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tu has his takedown stuffed
and Tessin counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Tu thinking.
Tu looks winded!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Tessin.
Tessin lands a hook to the side of the head.

Tu is rocked!
Tessin dips a shoulder and cracks Tu with a mighty uppercut! Tu falls back against the cage and Tessin unloads with a barrage of strikes! Tu is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Tessin screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Randy Tessin!
