PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Ruiz (ranked 2096 p4p, 2220 weight class) and Joey Williams (ranked 268 p4p, 282 weight class). Ruiz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is DB7 - Squid Game Drill. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Williams can do anything to dispel that myth.

Williams dives in for a single leg takedown but Ruiz sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Ruiz lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Williams connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

and Williams counters with a series of strikes. Ruiz will be more careful next time no doubt.
