Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Itziar Belmond!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 64 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sutarjo Sukarman!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sukarman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Belmond pinned against the cage. Belmond gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Belmond swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Sukarman looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Sukarman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Belmond swivels and escapes.
Belmond quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

Sukarman has his takedown stuffed
and Belmond counters with a nice body shot.
Itziar Belmond has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sutarjo Sukarman.
Belmond dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sukarman takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sukarman walks straight into a right hand from Belmond - that's dropped him! Belmond jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Sukarman from any more punishment! Sukarman complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Itziar Belmond!
