Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jose Rondon!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayfield fails with a takedown attempt.
Rondon has a takedown stuffed.
Rondon bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Mayfield on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mayfield tries to get out of the position.
Rondon is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mayfield knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Mayfield tries to buck Rondon off but Rondon is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rondon thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Mayfield tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rondon wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Rondon is trying to get an arm triangle but Mayfield is defending well.
Mayfield prevents Rondon from improving position.
Mayfield is looking to regain half guard here but Rondon keeps moving and retains side control.
Rondon working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Rondon tries to advance to mount but Mayfield denies him.

Mayfield tries to buck Rondon off but Rondon is having none of it.
Rondon is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Mayfield looks calm but he's in trouble here. Rondon gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Mayfield is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Rondon lets go of the hold and Mayfield can pop his arm back in it's socket.
