Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sergio Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Gunderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanchez comes to the cage accompanied by Du Hast. Gunderson has chosen Ok Go - This Too Shall Pass as his entrance music. Phil Gunderson has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Joseph Jones and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Sanchez looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sanchez tries to clinch but Gunderson is having none of it.
Sanchez tries to land a front kick but Gunderson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Sanchez looks to land a body kick but Gunderson moved away.
Sanchez on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Sanchez misses with a few strikes there.
Gunderson feints and then cracks Sanchez's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sanchez down.
Sanchez wants to clinch up but Gunderson keeps it at a distance.
Gunderson catches Sanchez napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Sanchez to the canvas!
Sanchez is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gunderson stands and steps away. Sanchez gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Sanchez wants to clinch.
Sanchez throws a body kick that misses.
Gunderson throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Sanchez tumbling to the canvas!
Oh Sanchez is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gunderson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Sanchez, up you get!
Nice body kick from Gunderson.
Sanchez seems to have got his legs back now.
Sanchez is breathing heavily.
Gunderson bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Gunderson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Gunderson.
Gunderson cracks Sanchez with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Gunderson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A solid body kick from Gunderson.
Gunderson cracks Sanchez with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Sanchez looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Gunderson finish him?
Sanchez switches off momentarily and Gunderson cracks him with a monster right hand! Sanchez topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Gunderson dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Gunderson!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Phil Gunderson!
