Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Lewis (ranked 5162 p4p, 4914 weight class) and Loki Seb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andrew Lewis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Loki Seb!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Bruno Hogan and Ben Hemmingworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lewis shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Seb is trying to defend but Lewis finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Seb looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Well, if Lewis is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Lewis decides to return to a standing position.

Lewis shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Seb napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Lewis stands up.
Lewis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Seb sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lewis somewhat.
Loki Seb seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lewis feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Seb uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Seb gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lewis to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Seb wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Lewis manages to pass to side control.

Lewis seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Lewis is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Seb doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lewis.

Seb is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lewis pulls his head out easily.

Lewis stands up and beckons Seb to join him on the feet.

Lewis has taken the fight to the clinch.
Lewis is trying to pull guard but Seb turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Lewis breaks from the clinch.
Seb fails in his attempt to clinch.

Lewis clinches up against the cage.
Nice body punch from Lewis.
We've been informed that Seb has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Lewis tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Seb smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew Lewis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lewis lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
A head kick misses from Lewis.

Lewis clinches up with Seb and pushes him back against the cage.
Lewis tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Seb just stands there and leans against the cage.
Lewis wants a takedown but no success here.

Lewis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lewis fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Seb fails with an attempt to clinch.
Loki Seb is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Seb tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lewis paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lewis shoots in but Seb avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Seb works over Lewis's head and body with a nice combination.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lewis looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Seb pushes Lewis up against the cage in a clinch.
Lewis has Seb pressed against the cage, preventing Seb from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Andrew Lewis will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action!

Lewis throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Lewis takes the fight into the clinch.
Seb is trying to force a seperation but Lewis has the dominant position.
Lewis jumps guard but Seb turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
The referee calls for Lewis to work.
Seb wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lewis on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
A bit of stalling here from Lewis.
Seb is breathing heavily.

Lewis jumps into guard, dragging Seb to the mat.
Lewis has his hands on Seb's head, controlling the position.
Lewis looking for a sweep. Not yet Lewis, not yet.
Seb working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Seb being controlled here momentarily.
Lewis is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Seb can do to turn this around?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Seb is looking to work some ground and pound but Lewis has wrist control.
Lewis looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Lewis throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Lewis not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Seb stopping the sweep attempt from Lewis.

Lewis has his foot on Seb's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Seb works his way back into a safe position though.

Seb gets to his feet - Lewis follows without any prompting.
A combination from Seb does no damage.
Seb misses with a double jab

and Lewis holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Lewis gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Seb kicks off Lewis and gets to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lewis has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Seb tries to keep at a distance but Lewis has taken the fight into the clinch.
Lewis is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Seb is defending well.

Seb stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Lewis jumps guard but Seb stands there with Lewis around his waist. Lewis gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew Lewis. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lewis breaks the clinch.
No joy there for Seb, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Lewis fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Seb sprawls well initially but Lewis persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Loki Seb has got the better of the ground game so far.
Seb wants to control but Lewis is keeping busy.
Lewis is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Lewis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Lewis tries to stand but can't do so whilst Seb controls his leg.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Lewis is trying to control. Seb wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Loki Seb will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Seb throws a series of strikes that have Lewis backpedaling.

Lewis looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Lewis stands and steps away. Seb gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Lewis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Seb manages to avoid it.
Despite the aggression on Seb's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Lewis throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Seb's head.
Seb dodges the punch combination from Lewis.
Seb tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lewis swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Seb rushes Lewis and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Lewis fails to pull guard.
Lewis blocks a punch to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Lewis manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lewis is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Lewis will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Seb decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lewis, up you get!
Seb tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Lewis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lewis appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Lewis drives through and clinches with Seb against the cage.
Lewis is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Seb is defending well.
Seb can't find room to land a body shot as Lewis controls the action.
Lewis tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Seb just stands there and leans against the cage.

Seb prevents a takedown attempt there.

Seb breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Seb tries to keep at a distance but Lewis has taken the fight into the clinch.
Lewis keeps control of Seb as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Lewis has picked Seb up - he's going for a ride! Lewis dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Lewis takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Lewis is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Seb defends it well.
Lewis wants to take a breather but Seb is having none of it.

Seb wants to improve his position but Lewis is controlling well.

Lewis stands up from half guard.

Lewis has managed to clinch.

Lewis pulls Seb into guard.
Lewis pulls Seb in close to his closed guard and prevents Seb from doing any damage or advancing position.

Lewis pushes a forearm under Seb's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Seb is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Andrew Lewis!
