Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Zoccato (ranked 2908 p4p, 4391 weight class) and Jon Raymond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mirko Zoccato! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jon Raymond! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Sandra Marshall and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raymond rushes Zoccato and presses him up against the cage. Raymond lands a knee to the head.
Zoccato letting Raymond take a breather here. Raymond gets control of Zoccato's arms and successfully pulls guard. Raymond will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Raymond looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Raymond looking to control but Zoccato passes into half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Raymond with the active half guard here but Zoccato passes nicely into side control. Zoccato controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zoccato tries for a kimura but Raymond is defending well. Zoccato passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Raymond! Zoccato controlling from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Zoccato wants to take Raymond's back but he can't do it this time. Zoccato controlling from the full mount. Zoccato prevents Raymond from getting the reversal. Raymond is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Raymond is controlling an arm, preventing Zoccato from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zoccato takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Zoccato looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Zoccato controlling the pace for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Zoccato's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Zoccato is working for a guillotine from mount but Raymond frees his head quite easily.
Zoccato controlling from mount. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Mirko Zoccato dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Raymond lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Zoccato shoots in but no luck this time. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Zoccato. Zoccato looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Zoccato changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Raymond tries to avoid it but Zoccato manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Raymond to the ground. Raymond escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mirko Zoccato. That's going to take a lot out of him. Raymond tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zoccato swats him away and circles back towards the center. Zoccato shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Raymond manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Raymond not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Raymond wants to control the position but Zoccato says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zoccato looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Zoccato is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Raymond can do to turn this around? Zoccato has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Raymond wants to control but Zoccato is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Zoccato tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Raymond tries to buck Zoccato off but he can't manage it. Zoccato controlling the pace for now. Raymond is trying desperately to improve position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Raymond has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Zoccato is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Raymond taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Zoccato.
