Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Slewton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kapusta Kaalhode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaalhode tries for a takedown but Slewton sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kaalhode moves into range and clinches up with Slewton.
Slewton lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Slewton is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kaalhode defends it well.
Kaalhode keeping hold of Slewton's head, controlling as best he can.
Slewton wants to work for an arm triangle but Kaalhode is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Slewton stalling away here and it's allowed Kaalhode to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Slewton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Slewton wants to control from the top but Kaalhode keeps moving.

Slewton has closed the distance and engaged Kaalhode in a clinch.

Kaalhode has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Slewton is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kaalhode.

Slewton is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Kaalhode frees his head nicely. Oh but Slewton has switched to an armbar! Kaalhode is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
